ABOUT OUTSIDE OF THE CIRCLE

Outside of the Circle is dedicated to helping you create change to achieve what matters most to you.

Outside of the Circle was created by Ali Davies for high-level professionals who are at midlife and beyond and want to step outside of the circle of the status quo to live and work on their own terms, by their own definition of success.

We teach you how to design your next chapter and create the changes necessary to turn it into reality so you can achieve what matters most to you, personally and professionally.

Why we do what we do

Creating change to achieve what matters most to you requires stepping outside the circle of the status quo. It requires knowing how to navigate the human side of creating change successfully.

Yet, often, people find creating change that lasts hard and can end up feeling stuck in a staus quo they no longer want but find it hard to break out of.

But it doesn't have to be that way. Ali's mission is to make creating change easier to naviagte because achieving what matters most to you is just on the other side of the discomfort and struggle of the change process.

Outside of the Circle's Philosophy

Ali believes that choosing to step outside of the circle of the status quo opens up possibility, opportunity, and potential.  Her mission is simple - to help people create better, more fulfilling, and meaningful lives and work, and to succeed and thrive with what matters most to them. Ali's personal philosophy is that if you aren't designing your life you are leaving it to chance - and that is a hell of a gamble to take with your one and only life. Life is too short to settle for mediocrity.

About Ali Davies - Founder of Outside of the Circle

Over the last 20 years, I have created many changes in my personal life, so I can relate to exactly what it takes to create change successfully.

I had a great 14 year career in the corporate world but in 2000 I decided that living and working by the conventional definition of success didn’t feel that fulfilling or meaningful to me anymore. So I decided to create my own definition of success and build my life and work around that. I set out to design the next chapter of my life and work and to create the changes necessary to turn it into reality.

In 2001 I left the corporate world to run my own business (a long held dream). Over the last 20 years since leaving the corporate world, I have continued to take a design approach to my life and work for each new chapter. As a result, I have made significant changes numerous times. For example, I left the UK to live in Ireland for seven years. I then moved to Canada in 2013 and eventually became a Canadian Citizen. There have been many other redesigns and changes to my business and personal life over the years too.

I now live on an island near Vancouver on the West Coast of Canada with my husband, teenage son, and our rescue dog, Shadow. Island life allows us to live and work on our own terms, by our own definition of success.
