Outside of the Circle helps individuals and organisations navigate the human side of creating change successfully to achieve what matters most to them. 

We teach people a process that combines practical design and change strategies with the right behaviours and habits to help them succeed, thrive, and  achieve matters most to them.  

Many of the people we work with are at midlife and beyond, so we have particular expertise in helping people at this stage of life design their next chapter in life and work. We also advocate for age equality, diversity, and multi-generational integration in life, workplaces, and society as a whole.

Why we do what we do

Creating change to achieve what matters most to you depends on your ability to step outside the circle of the status quo and navigate the human side of change. Yet, often, people only focus on the logistical and task side of change. As a result, many people find change difficult. Our mission is to make the human side of change easier to navigate and achieve because, often, what people want most is just on the other side of the discomfort and struggle of the change process.

Ali Davies - Founder of Outside of the Circle

With over 30 years experience, Ali is a Change Consultant and Coach specialising in the human side of change, performance and results.

She has worked with private clients, groups, and organisations in several countries around the world through her Consulting and Coaching Agency for the last 18 years. Prior to that, she spent 14 years in large corporate organisations, including Coca-Cola and Pepsi UK distributors. During her 14-year corporate career, her leadership roles included managing business operations and major change projects in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Customer Services, and leading teams to improve performance, achieve goals and transform results.

She is an advocate for age diversity, equality, and multi-generational integration.  She is passionate about helping people at midlife and beyond design their next chapter in life and work. 

Ali's Personal Story

As dawn broke on 1st January 2000, I was sat on top of my favourite mountain. As I watched the sun rising on a new millennium I decided it was time to create change to design my ideal life and work. My decision stemmed from feeling unfulfilled with the status quo in my life and corporate career.

In 2001, I left my corporate career and set up my Consultancy and Coaching Agency. Making a career change gave me the freedom to live and work on my own terms, based on my own definition of success. 

Not only did I change careers but I have moved countries twice! (from England to Ireland in 2006, and from Ireland to the West Coast of Canada in 2013). 

My personal philosophy is that if you aren't designing your life you are leaving it to chance. And that is a hell of a gamble to take with your one and only life. Life is too short to settle for mediocrity.
